worldssweetest94 asked: Girl better follow me lol

I am following you now. >.<

marylandparanormal asked: You seem to have an interest in paranormal audio. We extend an invitation to view MARYLAND PARANORMAL RESEARCH ® Share/reblog anything you like.

I lost my password to Tumblr for awhile. But I’m back!

I live in a house that was built in 1885, and have been for about 13 years.

My friends, family, & I have had plenty of paranormal experiences in this house. Other than some of the EVPs we’ve gotten, most of our experiences were mild. The one I want to tell you about wasn’t.

I can’t tell if this was malevolent in nature, but it was very disturbing. In all of my years dealing with this kind of stuff, I’ve never experienced something like this.

It happened a few months ago - very early in the morning. I don’t remember the specific time, but it was still dark out. I awoke out of a dead sleep because I felt something cold dripping on my face (mostly my mouth,) along with the smell of…something I can only describe as cold and rotten, like a decaying animal corpse.

I just about had a damn heart attack.

I sat up in bed and went to go wipe it off with my hands, only to feel that there is nothing on my face, nothing on my hands, not even sweat.

I noticed the area next to my bed was cold as well, but the smell was gone.

For some reason, I dismissed everything that had happened, and fell back to sleep.

I woke up the next morning, feeling like I was…forgetting something? I had the feeling that I may have had a nightmare, but forgot about it the instant I woke up. This feeling persisted all morning. It annoyed me, so I decided to ignore it.

I remembered the cold dripping on my face, but dismissed it as a dream (even though I knew it happened while I was awake.)

Later that day, I was sitting at my desk (on my laptop, like usual,) and that nagging feeling came up again, and then I was assaulted with an intrusive mental image of something I couldn’t EVER imagine by myself.

It was the face and upper body of what looked like someone that was decomposing and/or burnt. It had sunken-in eyes, and its mouth was slightly open, with thick, dark colored fluid(blood?) dripping from it. The worst part of seeing this was that it was from the view point of someone laying down, and with that thing standing over them, staring right into their face. I made the connection - the person laying down was me, and whatever that thing was…was standing over me while I slept, and having that disgusting fluid leak out of its mouth, onto my own.

This is still disgusting and horrible to think about. I was hesitant to write this only because I didn’t want to remember what that face looked like again, and the experience all together.

Nothing like what I have described above has happened as of late, but that smell/cold spot keeps cropping up in my house once in awhile, and it’s beginning to make me fearful of sleep.

If anyone has had something similar happen, please share. If anyone has ANY idea of what that thing could be, I’d like to hear your thoughts.

"When I got my first cat, it changed me. There is something about holding a cat that makes your anger melt away. And if someone does something that upsets me—I have to remember my cat. I can’t keep my cat if I get into trouble.”

"I asked if Major Cabanaw had concerns for the safety of the cats. “Of course, we always want to ensure the safety of the cats, and the staff is great about keeping an eye out for them. But mostly, it’s the offenders keeping them safe. I have never once seen an offender kill his own cat. We screen them to be sure they have no history of animal abuse. But I’ll tell you this, there was a guy killed in here because he had spit soda pop onto someone else’s cat.”"
Wow.
